Careful, it's addictive! I'm still kicking the boards at 77 (as of this writing). I live in an area that is within walking distance of a couple of strip malls with limited services (even the local Big Six bank branch closed recently). Since I don't drive anymore, the only way to get to larger stores and supermarkets is by using the local horrendous bus service or taxi. (I don't trust the Uber system. Hockey Today Vs. Back in the Day

Today I walked into the London store, first visited the soft goods store (clothing), then the main hard goods store, and did not get a chance to go to the goalie room. I was blown away by all the choices in the stores. I posted this in the Google Maps review on the store. "For me, an old guy who worked for Cooper Sporting Goods back in the day, this place was just golden, and I didn't even go into the goalie building. I met two really great young guys I call Dee Marley and Noah Knows, and we shared our hockey knowledge across two completely different eras of the game. Me: 1975 era, them: 2026, and we all couldn't get enough of each other's stories. The store is just as amazing as the staff. They truly know their stuff." Finally Fulfilling Two Old Promises

Warning! This story will not make much sense to many readers, so I understand if you don't get it. I need to do this to finally fulfill a couple of promises I made to 3 wonderful people I met online while playing Pirates of the Caribbean, which Disney just decided to stop because, I guess, they didn't like the money it was returning. Damn all the people playing it. We had about 700 in our clan or group. I don't remember what term they used in the game.  I made the promise 11 years ago. Frankly, one good thing is that both Gemini and Canva made writing the story a lot easier than it would have been back then. I finally got it together after a chat with a new friend I made at my favourite bar, The Wort and his name will be Grasshopper in the story. Basically, he said I just have to let it go, and that is what this story is helping make happen.
