All Dogs Go To Heaven

The movie had a budget of $ 13 million and has earned an estimated $100 million since its release.

(This post is an update of another version I did in an older blog.)

So let's talk about how big it is first: is the other place bigger, slightly bigger, a whole lot bigger, or possibly even smaller?

You see, the experts figure that, so far, the overall population of the Earth has exceeded 100 billion folks since man first appeared, so a good portion of those folks are already there. The current population of this planet is around 8.3 billion and is always growing. Since it can be crowded to absolutely underpopulated on this Earth (depending on where you live), is Heaven crowded like New York or Tokyo-style, or are there places like Alaska, the Sahara Desert, or Antarctica where there is a lot more room to move around before you bump into your neighbour? The Sahara Desert is more likely for the other place.

Do you need to use the bathroom in Heaven? Well, if you do, the line-ups could be rather long, don't you think? I had a friend who said in her beliefs that Heaven is a place where you would never feel pain or want for anything. So I would think that in her Heaven you would not need to go to the bathroom since it can be painful sometimes and you certainly wouldn't want to wait in any line-up, which would just add to the pain. Who would get the job of cleaning up those bathrooms??

Do you have to sleep in Heaven, or are you always awake and aware of what is going on around you, and maybe even aware of the current happenings on the planet you just left, which brings up another question. Are there people from other planets in Heaven? Do they speak the same language as you, and do all the other folks from other countries speak the same language so you can all understand each other?

Do they play sports in Heaven? And what kind of games would you possibly play? Her phrase "you would never feel pain or want for anything" kind of makes you wonder about sports because my experience with sports involved pain, and someone has to lose, so it makes it harder to want for that one since the other guy or gal feels the pain of losing.

So realistically, Heaven is a personal thing for each and every person around you. It is what each one believes it to be for them, and there is not much point in you trying to figure it all out. You already have enough confusion in your life to try and figure that one out. It is either there, or it isn't, and you won't know whether to go there or to the other place until you pass on. So hopefully you are in no hurry to find out the answer and can enjoy your time here on Earth. We are all going to be dead for a very long time, so maybe it is better not to rush the process, but that is my personal belief. It is up to you what you do with your life, and we should just learn to respect that.

Maybe we do all end up meeting each other in Heaven. How do you explain some of those folks to your Mom? Do they serve hors d'oeuvres and refreshments all the time, or pizza and beer, or cabbage rolls and whiskey, or cake and ice cream? This stuff is all way beyond my little pea brain, and I can wait for the answers to those questions.

So, let's talk about the concept of all dogs going to Heaven and crossing the rainbow bridge to do so. Firstly, for a pet owner, the day they cross has got to be one of the hardest days of their lives because a dog is not just a pet. It is a family member who sadly does not live as long as the owner's (partner, really) lifespan.

Who pets them all? I guess that's part of the good thing of going to Heaven. Do dogs poop in Heaven? Do you have to poop and scoop, or is there some magic that takes place and turns that into something useful for planet Earth- maybe rain or snow?

Do dogs bark a lot at each other, especially the little yippee ones that always act bigger than they really are until challenged by a bigger one and then the little one just runs and hides? I guess that all dogs get along in Heaven, so no worries there.

And does the spirit of a recently passed dog go back to Earth inside a new puppy or puppies? My head hurts trying to figure out the answers to any of these questions.

Y'all have a wunnerful day!
